Dr Tiffany Cone is an anthropologist and filmmaker from New Zealand with teaching and research experience in Australasia (Australia and NZ), East Asia (China), South Asia (Bangladesh) and the Middle East (UAE). Her primary research areas are psychological anthropology, visual anthropology and pedagogy in higher education (active and applied learning, contemplative pedagogy, equality and access in education).

 

She holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the Australian National University and a BA(Hons) in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Otago. From 2016 to 2021 she was an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She is now an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi.
